Where Learning Meets Creativity: My School Projects
Moodboards
Creating moodboards helps me quickly capture the vibe and sets the tone for my design direction. I truly enjoy the process and often find unexpected inspiration while building them
Design Collection
Year 2 Semester 2
This is one of my favourite collection!
Theme: Vangogh in Desert
This collection draws inspiration from the evocative brushstrokes of Van Gogh’s artwork, seamlessly fused with the raw beauty of desert landscapes. It explores an unexpected yet captivating dialogue between art and nature, finding harmony in their contrasts. The pink sections of the garments are crafted from seersucker fabric, chosen for its textured surface that echoes the tactile quality of Van Gogh’s signature painting style.
The prints are thoughtfully developed by merging visual elements from both Van Gogh’s masterpieces and the serene, undulating forms of the desert. Through this fusion, I discovered a surprising commonality between the two—both express emotion through texture, rhythm, and color. This collection celebrates that connection, bringing together two distinct themes to create something fresh, poetic, and visually compelling.

I personally drafted, cut, and sewed both a top and a bottom garment from scratch, transforming my design into reality through hands-on craftsmanship. This look was selected by my lecturer to be showcased in an exhibition at NAFA Campus 2 — a proud milestone that reflects my technical skills, creativity, and dedication to fashion-making from concept to creation.

Draping--Where Imagination Takes Form
This draping piece was created based on my collage and observational drawings, with the theme of "volume." Using fabric directly on the mannequin, I explored shapes and silhouettes that felt impossible to draft on flat paper.
To me, draping is like magic, it brings abstract ideas to life, turning what seems un-draftable into something real and wearable. I later translated this 3D exploration into a paper pattern, bridging creativity with construction.
